The Vintage Volkswagen Club of America is for anyone interested in all models, makes, and years of Volkswagens. Although a large majority of our membership is based on air-cooled vintage Volkswagen owners, your VW does not have to be a bone-stock original model, nor does it have to be a show-winning Volkswagen. In fact, you don’t even have to own a Volkswagen to be a member. The only need is to have an appreciation of these automobiles to join our growing membership. By the way, did we mention that membership is FREE?
We’re a staff of VW enthusiasts who are passionate about our hobby. We are committed to offering the best parts at the lowest prices, and we pride ourselves on fast, affordable shipping.
We started out in 1988 as Karmann Ghia Parts and Restoration, and quickly became the world’s largest supplier of restoration parts and accessories for Karmann Ghias.
We list nearly 10,000 part numbers and we supply the industry with close to 1000 reproduction parts that we manufacture ourselves. When you buy one of these parts from us, it’s GUARANTEED FOR LIFE!
The VWCA (Volkswagen Club of America) is a not-for-profit hobby club for owners and enthusiasts of Volkswagen and Audi automobiles. Founded in 1955, the Club has followed the evolution of Volkswagen from the early air-cooled Beetle to the latest models to roll off the assembly line. We are not owned by, affiliated with or sponsored by Volkswagen AG or Volkswagen of America, the Importer. The Club is operated and managed solely by volunteer members who contribute their time and energy in pursuit of our motto, "to help Volkswagen and Audi owners enjoy their cars to the fullest."

BBT was founded by Arlette van Dijck and Bob van Heyst during the autumn of 1986. The first shop measured only 20m² and the initial stock consisted of three pallets of mainly restoration and performance parts from California, these were delivered by truck and deposited on the lawn of Bob’s parents house. Pure hobby. When customers came a few weeks later, speaking another language than Bob’s native tongue, he realised this was serious business. After a year a warehouse of 40 square metres from the neighbour has been added even after the attic of this parents’ house and the garage of his father’s car were already taken by Bob!
